Paracetamol Calculator
Paracetamol is used for relief of pain. It will not cause drowsiness or cause your child to sleep. It can be used for children and babies over 3 months old. Younger babies must see the doctor.
Paracetamol has various brand names - Pamol, Panadol, Paracare. Parafast- they are all the same. A lot of cold medicines has paracetamol in them, so please be careful when giving medicines to children and always check what you are giving. If you have any doubts do not give and check with your nurse, doctor or pharmacist.

- Give the displayed dose in ml at 4-6 hourly intervals for pain or fever, MAXIMUM 4 DOSES IN 24 HOURS.
- Have you given your child cold remedies? - it may contain paracetamol - please check and if so count that as a dose as well
- Use a syringe for accurate dosing
